Vintage Handstitched Dresden Plate Quilt c1940

Freshly washed, a gorgeous handstitched quilt from the late 30' to early 1940's. The colors are soft and wonderful with charming feed sack and dress prints worked into the plates (flowers) and stars. Note the sweet, eight point stars at the sashing intersections. This is amazingly soft and very pretty on a bed.

Condition: Excellent. Some evidence of yellow blewd through on the backing in a few places ans one area on the front. Freshly washed. Some wear to binding edges.
