Antique Green & White Pinwheel Quilt c1840

Collector's take note: A stunning, mint condition pinwheel quilt from the early 19th century. Constructed using multiple lapis prints (approx. five different) in the exact same colorway. The pinwheel blocks measure six inches by six inches. The work is beautifully done with expert hand quilting in a single rod and feathered wreath motif. The border is a bright 3.5 inch floral and the binding is hand applied. 

An exquisite and rare collection piece.
