Antique 19th Century Baskets Quilt

Polka dots, florals, and stripes and paisleys! Someone had access to some very special fabrics. This quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted in a triple outline with clamshell additions in the green sashing. The backing is a gorgeous trellis print with pink and blue flower buds. It has a hand stitched, applied binding in a pink. This is a wonderful quilt for study and collection.

Condition: Very good. Great condition, some minor areas of fade and discoloration from age and storage. Shows no signs of use. Freshly aired. Some marking on the backing as shown.
