Antique Cactus Pot Quilt

A charming, classic American Patchwork quilt in red white and blue with a green calico backing. It is hand pieced and hand quilted, constructed with a wonderful array of scraps including nautical conversation prints and lots of shirting in plaids, stripes and ginghams. The hand quilting is done in a lightning bolt zig zag down the red setting cloth and in a single rod through the center of each block. It has a foldover binding from back to front.

Condition: Good. Shows some signs of wear along the binding edge and there are a few scattered marks (no bigger than a dime) as shown. Some light fade through the center fold line.
