Hand Tied Double Sided Patchwork Quilt c1940

A charming little quilt, hand pieced and hand tied using a rainbow of threads. One side boasts half triangles in a plethora of cheerful prints and pinwheels, while the other side is constructed of various hand pieced blocks (mostly stars) in a quirky arrangement with a section of wholecloth completing one side. The edges are tucked inside and stitched in a knife edge. This quilt is playful and full of pattern and color.

Freshly washed

Condition: Very good, some minor bunching of the cotton batting from drying. Overall sound.
