Vintage Floral Applique Coverlet 1942 (A)

As part of a collection of 6 hand stitched, quilt top coverlets, this floral applique piece is one of two offered. It is the better of the two in terms of condition, with vibrant colors and little to no fade. It is hand embroidered with the quiltmaker's initials and the date 1942. The edges are bound in green. Freshly hand washed and ironed. 

Condition: Good, Some general spots throughout from age remain after hand washing.

Weight: Single layer coverlet, no quilting, no batting.
