Vintage “Glory” Blue Work Angels Quilt

Freshly washed. Hand embroidered with two mirrored angels and adorned with morning glory flowers, this blue work quilt is a truly unique piece. It's completely hand stitched and in good condition. All embroidery is strong and intact with no wear.  A few marks on the back as well as a few mends on the back only. There you will also see a few thinned areas to the backing as a finer, thinner white cotton was used for the back. Great detail and attention was given to the embroidery, from the folds in the angel's gowns to the tips of their pointed toes. This quilt is extra special. 

Thin, summer weight.
