Vintage Improved 9 Patch Quilt c1940

A less common, often sough-after, pattern that is always delightful. Utilizing feed sack cloth and other period prints, this hand pieced quilt is bright and lovely. It is densely hand quilted in a quad-outline and boasts a white cotton feed cloth backing.

Condition: Very good. There are a few blocks that contain a silky material that has thinned over the years (see photos). Some scattered marks and very faint yellowing in some places that does little to detract. Overall, this quilt is strong and pretty. Freshly washed.
