Vintage New York Beauty Quilt

An incredibly charismatic and folksy quilt, hand pieced in a pattern recognized as New York Beauty and uncommon for this later time period. It is hand quilted in loose, rudimentary stitches and the binding is wonkily folded over and hand stitched from the back. There are a number of different prints and weaves making up the points in the blocks that make for a colorfilled composition.

This quilt makes an excellent, graphically strong wall piece.

Condition: Fair. Some loose seams and scattered dots and spots in a variety of colors (ink/paint).
