Vintage Pink Improved Nine Patch Quilt 1940

A gorgeous, hand stitched quilt from the mid 1900s. It is hand pieced, and hand quilted. The careful, curved piecing is what makes this pattern so wonderful. It consists of a warm blush pink, creamy white and various charming floral prints. It is expertly quilted, in tiny stitches by a careful and accomplished hand.  

Condition: Good. Two blocks have been patched and mended and two other very tiny mends were found in the pink. There is one pink area with a little tear, as shown. Weight: Medium 

Measures 74 x 87 inches
