Vintage Stars Quilt c1950

A sweet little quilt in oversized, 6 point stars. Pieced by hand and hand quilted in the main body. The top and bottom edges have a border section with machine quilting. It has an applied binding of pink and white polka dots and a soft white (feed sack) backing. Many different fabrics used for the stars including feed sack cloth, shirting, wovens and solids. 

Condition: Good. Some pale faded marks on front as shown and one pale gray mark (old ink?) on the back. 

Weight: Low-loft, medium weight 

Measures: 64 x 76 inches
