Well-Loved Antique Ocean Waves Quilt c1900

This quilt has been well loved and used time and again. It shows great signs of use in overall fabric loss, shred and splitting. There are also areas that have faired well. Hand pieced and hand quilted with a wonderful applied binding in pale blue. 

The ocean waves pattern is a sought-after patchwork quilt pattern and it's extra wonderful in the varying shades of the sky and ocean blues ... 

Freshly soaked and air dried. 

Condition: Poor. Well used. Lots of fabric loss and tearing to the surface from years of use. Displays folded very nicely.
