Wood Block Printed Glazed Chintz Early 19th Century Quilt Remnant

A stunning, overdyed green, early chintz section from an antique quilt. Fabric ca 1820 and in fair condition. There is some dye rot to the darker areas where the fibers have disintegrated due to the original dye process. The main body and hand quilting is in solid shape. This is a fine little specimen for collection, study and/or display.
