A circa 1930 - 1940’s hand stitched quilt in a pattern known as Farmer’s Daughter (this pattern can also go by the name of Rolling Stone, Jack’s Blocks, Corner Posts, or Flying Birds). It is hand pieced and hand quilted in a single rod pattern. There is a wonderful mix of pattern and color happening which adds a very dynamic look to the finished piece. The quilt maker used everything from florals and stripes to plaids and polka dots! It has a feed cloth backing.
Condition: Good. Some residual marks. Hand washed.
Weight: Medium weight, soft
Measures 69 x 78 inches
