Yellow Calico Antique Quilt

Yellow Calico Antique Quilt in an Old Maid's Puzzle pattern. Hand pieced and hand quilted with a clean, bright yellow backing that was likely applied at a later date. This has no signs of wear, only some tanning and freckling in some places where dyes migrated. There are some DARLING original mends and examples of tiny “make-do” piecing. The fabrics are really delicious, so many gorgeous 19th century prints. The yellow is as brilliant as it looks, a classic print of black and red floral figure. 

Median weight, never wetted.
